Adam Millhouse - Director of Design & Estimating
Adam began his professional career working for landscape contractors in the Birmingham area. While a student in Auburn, Adam completed an internship at Augusta National Golf Club, spent a summer in England studying renowned gardens, and served as President of the Auburn University Landscape & Nursery Association. Adam is a member of the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce Junior Board. He and his wife, Claire, live in Crestline Park with their dog Tootsie.

Will Howell - Director of Construction
In a similar manner to Adam, Will’s landscape experience began working under residential landscape contractors where he started with a crew and later became a project superintendent. Will is a member of the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce Junior Board and serves as a committee member for the Alabama Wildlife Federation. He and his wife, Virginia, live in Crestline Park with their three-legged dog, Stiles.

Andrew Bice - Director of Maintenance
Andrew began his career in the green industry working at two of the most renowned golf courses in the Southeast where he experienced providing landscape and turf maintenance with the highest degree of detail for the discerning clientele of both facilities. The experiences at these courses led him to pursue a degree in Horticulture at Auburn University. Upon graduation, Andrew began working for a high-profile landscape contractor managing their maintenance division. Andrew is responsible for the oversight of all maintenance properties as well as enhancement projects for existing clients. Andrew and his wife Ashley have two children and enjoy spending time outdoors.

Shelby Mullins - Director of Marketing
Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Shelby attended the University of Alabama where she graduated with a degree in Interior Design, and the Gemological Institute of America where she holds a degree with the Graduate Diamonds program. Upon graduation, she worked under several notable architecture firms and interior design studios. Shelby manages marketing, social media, photography, and videography for MHLC, while she also operates her own Fine Jewelry business, Studio Mullins. She and her husband, Haddon, live outside of English Village with their Irish Setter, Webb.

Ann Louise Morris - Director of Accounting
Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Ann Louise attended the University of Alabama where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Accounting. Most recently, she was an Accountant for Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP) before becoming SVP's Treasury Analyst. Prior to her roles at SVP, Ann Louise was an integral part of day-to-day operations and financial recording for an accounting firm in Lexington. She enjoys running on Mountain Brook Parkway, horse racing and competitions, needlepointing, and trips to the beach. She and her husband, Edward, live in Birmingham and enjoy traveling and playing tennis together.

Ivy Dyas - Designer and Estimator
Ivy's engagement to the outdoors started at a young age in Ozark where she was exposed to hunting and participating in competitions with her horse, Fergie. She graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Horticulture, specifically Nursery and Greenhouse Sciences. During her time studying, Ivy volunteered at the late Pat Dye's Crooked Oaks farm where she led horses on trail rides as well as grafted and propagated many of Dye's infamous Japanese Maples. Following her graduation, Ivy worked for a landscape maintenance company specializing in container gardening and high-detail horticultural services followed by an opportunity with a renowned landscape and garden design firm. With her balanced background in the industry, Ivy delivers a practical approach to design and estimating. She and her husband, Zach, enjoy riding horses, hunting, and spending time with family, friends, and their black lab Shadow at the beach.

Jackson Carter - Project Manager
From Birmingham, Jackson began his career in the construction industry working as a glazier where he was responsible for installing retail storefronts across the United States for three years. In an effort to relocate back to Birmingham, he worked in the landscape industry as an on-site Construction Foreman for MHLC. Subsequently, Jackson has earned the role of Project Manager where he directly oversees construction projects by managing in-house and subcontractor crews. Jackson has two dogs, Bronco and Nova, and enjoys tinkering with his 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ when not kayaking down the Cahaba River.

John Place - Maintenance Account Manager
Originally from Birmingham, John is an avid outdoorsman. He is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in Public Relations. From here, John has succeeded in the service industry working as an event manager for Zoom Motorsports at Barber Motorsports Park, Service Advisor for Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham, and Contract Manager for a commercial landscape maintenance contractor. John is solution-oriented and serves as the main point of contact between maintenance clients and their assigned crew. Like Jackson, John also works on his 1990s Jeep Wrangler YJ when he is not hiking or mountain biking. John and his wife, Morgan, live in Bluff Park with their two huskies Jiro and Miska.
